CT30 Cargotrak

Heavy Lift Cargo Drone

Airial Robotics‘ heavy lift UAV CT30 Cargotrak has a massive 2.65m diameter rotor allowing it to remain stable in heavy winds and extremely high elevations of up to 5000m while carrying up to 10kg of cargo (8kg with a 25kg take off weight). The drone is designed for autonomous operation beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) and is able to carry cargo as well as large sensors. Like all of Airial Robotics’ UAVs, the CT30 is made in Europe.

Its unusual design (patent pending technology) with two main motors powering one large rotor and two traction motors, which also provide torque compensation ensures very good flight characteristics and a high lifting capacity.

MISSIONS BEYOND VISUAL LINE OF SIGHT

BVLOS missions have very special requirements for the aircraft. This includes reliable communication over several hundred kilometers, integration into regular airspace, communication with manned aircraft and autonomous emergency programs that react in the event of an incident in a way that protects people and the environment.

All of these features, together with low noise emissions and low energy consumption, characterize the CT30 (optional extras required)

HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION

The natural habitat of a CT30 Cargotrak is an urban area with numerous transportation tasks. It may carry up to 13kg; 28.6lbs of payload (8kg; 17.6lbs with 25kg; 55lbs MTOW) which can be landed or lowered.

AUTOROTATION
EMERGENCY LANDING

In the unlikely event of a loss of main energy, the CT30 Cargotrak is able to perform an emergency landing in autorotation, a descending maneuver in which the rotor blades are driven solely by the upward flow of air through the rotor.

Mission Himalaya Express

Airial Robotics has chosen nothing less than the Himalaya mountains to test and prove the suitability of its new UAV „Cargotrak“ for high altitude. The objective of the mission „Himalaya Express“ was to lift 10kg of freight from a take off height of 4000m+ under the extreme weather conditions, icy temperatures and stormy winds that prevail in the rough mountains. After several hours of ascent in an off-road vehicle, the time had come and the CT30 „Himalaya Express“ lifted itself and a 10kg weight successfully from 4275m, asceded to 4500m and landed again safely at its starting point.
